Brief Description: The scope of Generic Management covers five domains: leadership, managing the environment, managing relations, managing knowledge and the practice of management.
The qualification introduces key terms, rules, concepts, principles, and practices of management that will enable learners to be informed managers in any occupation. It has also been developed to enable managers or prospective managers to access higher education and provide flexible access to life-long learning.
Entry Level Requirements: Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 4 and/or a Grade 12 pass.
Target Market: This qualification is intended for managers who have junior managers or supervisors reporting to them.
